Mr. Peanutbutter's biggest flaw seems to be that he does not listen, especially to his wives or whoever he happens to be dating at the time. BoJack gets angry at his mockery and tells him Diane went to Cordovia to get away from her failing marriage. He is then approached by Joey Pogo. An emotional Mr. Peanutbutter jokes about how depressing their conversation got, and they laugh and howl at the moon. Mr Peanutbutter's penchant for codependency and his inability look within himself will lead him on a slow spiral of poor decision making and victimization. Mr. Peanutbutter gets ready to talk to the reporters but he is interrupted by Joey telling him about a situation in the kitchen. The same year, Mr. Peanutbutter and Jessica divorced, as Jessica was tired of him taking job offers that were beneath him, and she started dating Justin Timberlake immediately after she broke up with him. He tosses her the keys and tells her to take it for a spin. When she changes her mind, he agrees to make Pickles her favorite drink. The two are still friendly with one another, but when they arrive back to her apartment Mr. Peanutbutter gives Diane the signed divorce papers. Mr. Peanutbutter naively believes Todd is actually there to apply to be his personal driver and hires Todd after an impromptu interview.
